EV DURÁN

I love movies and I always have.

As a kid, I idolized Sidney Poitier and when I was six or seven I informed everyone who would listen that I was going to be an actor like him. It had been decided. By the time I was ten or eleven, I just wanted to be Jackie Chan when I grew up. He wrote and directed his own films! He did his own stunts! He was (still is) my hero. When I was fourteen I wrote my first screenplay: "Beverly Hills Cop 4." By the time I graduated high school I had a budding love for cinematography and video editing, and I have been in love with the comprehensive art of filmmaking ever since. Now, as an adult (allegedly), I get to make movies and videos full-time, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate.

My career continues to evolve and often surprise me. I am grateful that I have such varied opportunities, both behind and in front of the camera. Most recently, many of my efforts have been concentrated on documentary films, both as a director of my own projects and as a producer of several others.

This website is a collection of many different types of my work. If you are interested in discussing collaborating on a project, please do not hesitate to drop me a line! Thank you so much for visiting my site. It remains a work in progress, as do we all.
